As the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining an established portfolio of commercial banking members. The role develops and maintains relationships with members as well as pursues new members through referrals, business development, and contacts in the community. It will be your responsibility to implement corporate policies, procedures and standards to effectively mitigate risk, manage a complex lending portfolio of commercial and real estate members, as well as to support the established annual business plan for the department. Additionally, you will analyze, negotiate, and structure commercial and real estate loans in compliance with guidelines, be accountable for attaining all sales and growth targets and adhere to business policies and procedures and ensure compliance to all risk management and best practice standards to mitigate risk. You will also be expected to conduct annual reviews on commercial accounts within the assigned portfolio and ensure all terms and conditions of credit are being met, and to contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of departmental initiatives and programs.

The specific results expected in each key performance area will be developed and agreed to by the incumbent and the AVP, Commercial & Real Estate Banking. - Strong portfolio management, risk management and business development skills demonstrated through 8 years of previous relevant commercial banking/real estate lending experience
- Relevant post-secondary education supplemented by specialized industry specific training or an equivalent of work experience
- Superior critical thinking, problem solving, and leadership skills.
- Strong business development skills
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and willingness to learn other programs.
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
